Chickpea tempeh is a variation of traditional tempeh that is made using chickpeas instead of soybeans. The chickpeas are first cooked and then mixed with a culture of Rhizopus mold spores, which ferment the chickpeas and bind them together to form a solid cake.

Chickpea tempeh is a good source of protein and is also a good source of dietary fiber. Additionally, the fermentation process also makes it easier to digest than whole chickpeas and also produces beneficial bacteria that can promote a healthy gut. Chickpea tempeh can be sliced and sautéed or added to soups, stews, and curries. It can be used as a meat substitute in sandwiches, wraps, and salads, or as an ingredient in vegan burgers.

Pumpkin seeds are added to make it more nutritious.
